The subject matter of the lesson is thus deepened and consolidated. The solutions can be worked out independently and solved to your own sense of accomplishment. 

Initially, lessons can be skimmed through, e.g. during a train journey, the lunch break, while watching TV or in bed before falling asleep, but more time needs to be applied to absorb it fully. 

Having established a first overview it becomes clear what the new topic covers. The second reading will make it easier to work through and absorb the material.

It can be helpful to set up your personal «study place» so that you stay undisturbed whilst working with the material.

It has also proven useful for some to set up a schedule for daily and weekly study times. Study without pressure set your own pace as slow or quick as you like, as long as it serves your purpose. 

It can be very helpful to note down statements, terms or definitions that seem important. It may also be helpful to set up your own physical or virtual card index organising the collection of plentiful data.

The teaching text contains fairly condensed knowledge. Every sentence is functionally important! Make sure not to race ahead of yourself in studying the material until you feel you have really understood exactly what you have learned so far!

Birth chart
As a standard working tool during the distance learning programme, Astrological Psychology, as the name suggests, requires your own basic horoscope (radix).

It forms the linchpin of your own growing knowledge and insights into of your deeper self (Impulses, motivations, aims in life, patterns of partnerships, etc.).

It will be provided with the first study documents, also the house and lunar node horoscope will be added.

We also encourage to collect as many birth charts of other people as is possible (This only with their consent). These will form the varied material for practising.

Horoscopes are indispensable tools in the educational aspects of learning and comprehending the chosen subject matter in hand. 

In this way, the statements made in the teaching material can be understood through a variety of 
examples.
